Skatemaster Tate – A Way of Life LP & Tape – Beware Records – 1988

For those of you who’ve seen Powell Peralta’s “Public Domain” Bones Brigade Video, either the fourth or fifth installment, you may remember a song called “La Cumbre”, which comes on during a skate park session south of the boarder. Anyhow, I loved the song since I heard it and found the tape a few years back at the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. I had been searching for the LP unsuccessfully for a couple of years now and had given up all hope when I found it on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. Well, it came in the mail today and unwrapped the package to find the record was unsecurely packaged and had a crack through half the LP, starting at the label. What a bummer of deal?
